Many moons ago Plato said that necessity is the mother of invention, and it still holds true today. And that is how we brought the idea for Pik N Deliver to life.

It was out of pure frustration. As new parents we were at our wits end. Our baby constantly cried, never sleeping. One day venting to a friend, in a sleep deprived state, they offered us a rocker they no longer used. Yes, finally a possible solution to help our baby sleep, or so we thought.

Keen to have it delivered we searched high and low. But to no avail. And our frustration grew and grew. No one wanted to help. There was just no service that picked up at a private house to deliver door to door. This left us in a tough situation.

There were many local courier companies. But to do what we needed, we had to pre purchase packaging materials and labels or have it dropped at a courier center. This defeated the purpose of being kind to Mother Earth. So, what to do?

Lightbulb moment! We will do it ourselves.

Pik N Deliver

Our solution was to create Pik N Deliver. A door to door delivery service using little to no packaging or labels. You can reuse your old packaging—bags, boxes and envelopes, if you want to.

We take photos of your goods on pick up and you can choose same day or next day delivery.

Looking after the planet is important to us, so we only use electric vehicles to deliver goods between households lightning fast.
